AROMATHERAPY

WHAT IS AROMATHERAPY?

Aromatherapy is the application of essential or aromatic oils to the body.

These oils enter the blood stream through the tiny blood capillaries and exert a strong influence on the interchange of fluids. They increase muscular and nervous tone, raise the general body resistance and improve elimination of toxins, thereby easing tight and painful muscles.

HOW CAN IT HELP?
Are you feeling stressed? Do you yearn for a good nights sleep? Are your shoulders and neck tight and sore? Do you want to experience deep relaxation?

An aromatherapy treatment improves the overall tissue state bringing about a higher degree of physical equilibrium. The oils help to relieve stress and tension, improve the elasticity of skin, aide the reduction in scar tissue and stretchmarks and generally bring about a feeling of wellbeing.

 WHAT OILS ARE USED?

Oils such as basil, camomile, lavender, geranium, marjoram and rosemary may be used depending on symptoms.
These different oils are chosen to treat different ailments – headaches, sore or tight muscles, stress, respiratory problems and skin issues......
