Easy Salad Dressing

A good Salad Dressing can really make a salad taste so much better, this one is easy to make and you can make more than you need and store in the fridge until you need it. 

SALAD DRESSING

 

Ingredients

6 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon cider vinegar

Half a teaspoon rock salt

Ground black pepper to taste

1 clove of garlic

1 teaspoon dry English mustard

 

Method

Using the blade of a knife chop the garlic and grind together with the salt using the back of a spoon or grind in a pestle & mortar.

Stir in the mustard powder

Scrape in to the jam jar

Add the rest of the ingredients.

Shake and store in a cool dry place for up to 3 days

Top tips

  • Use different flavoured vinegars.

  • Add in chopped mixed herbs.

  • Use different flavours of mustard e.g. American or French

  • Mix through cooked, cooled vegetables, or any leftovers for a quick snack
